BIFPCL Works for Advancement of Science at Mongla

Bangladesh-India Friendship Power Company (Pvt.) Limited (BIFPCL) has been working for the advancement of science at Mongla as part of its community  development initiative in the adjacent areas of project site at Rampal, Bagerhat.
Deputy Minister, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Habibun Nahar, attended the inauguration program of science lab supported by BIFPCL at Dighraj Degree College, Mongla on 20 July, 2019 as chief guest.
In her speech as chief guest, Habibun Nahar underscored the need of studying science and research on it to take the country forward by the young scientists. She told that Bangladeshi youths are extremely potentials and they are interested in learning and researching on scientific issues. But they need supports to undergo their studies
through proper science equipments in laboratories of the educational institutions. She appreciated BIFPCL as it has come forward to support the future scientists of this region through donating science equipments to the college laboratory.
The function was presided over by Principal of Dighraj Degree College Tuser Kumar Gain while Project Director SC Pandey and Deputy Project Director Md. Rezaul Karim of Maitree Super Thermal Power Project, Rampal attended the program as special guests. President of Khulna TV Reporters Forum Mallick Sudhangshu, DGM (HR), Sidhartha Mondal, Deputy Manager (HR) G.M. Tariqul Islam and Deputy Manager (Admin and Security) Md. Oliullah,(Admin and Security) Md. Oliullah, Mongla Upazila Chairman Abu Taher Howlader were also present the occasion as invited guests along with teachers and students of the college.
