Eight Bangladeshi Children on a Russian Winter Adventure

Eight Bangladeshi children between the age of 11 and 16 arrived Moscow in the early morning of February 9 to attend the traditional Russian winter adventure in the Penza region, roughly 600 km away from the capital city. The children are attending, “International Smart Holidays” – a “Rosatom School” project supported by State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom.

The Children will spend 10 days developing new skills and learning about traditional Russian Maslenitsa week. The camp is packed with artistic, athletic and cultural activities. The children will play sports, stage their own theatrical performance, curate personal exhibitions, create educational quests among many others.

“Rosatom is excited by the prospect of powering the youth through these kinds of innovative camps, which allow young people to meet their peers from across the globe and unlock their creative potential”, said Andrey Shevlyakov, CEO, ROSATOM South Asia.

In addition to participate in exciting program at the camp the students will be given the opportunity to various attractions in Moscow, including The Red Square, St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Historical Museum, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the Moscow-City skyscraper complex, as well as panoramic views of the Kremlin.

International Smart Holidays is being held from February 10 to 20,2018.
