Five CNG Stations Lost Their Gas Connections

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company limited has disconnected the gas connections of five CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) station as the owners of these stations disobeyed the government directives.

Sources from Titas informed that, the CNG stations are bound to remain closed from 5 PM to 9 PM everyday as per government directives. However, a few CNG station owners violated the government directives by operating during the prohibited hours. As a result, a task force of Titas has disconnected the gas connections of such stations.

On 10th February, the task force terminated the gas connections of High-Pressure CNG of Basail, High-Pressure CNG of Bhatkhura and Utsab CNG of Alenga area of Tangail district.

The task force, on the following day disconnected the gas connections of Zeromo CNG of board-bazaar area, F F enterprise of Kaliakoir area of Gazipur district.
