The SUST team had to find the solution of ‘biomass gas stove implementation’ that was given by the competition authority and they have solved the problem in such a creative way.

This wasn’t the only mind blowing solutions, students from other engineering universities have also found some creative solutions to a set of 7 different given problems that the country is currently facing. The students had to find the solutions within an unceasing 36 hour session at the ‘Power and Energy Hackathon-2017’ held at the international convention city of Bashundhara situated at the capital. The winners of the competition got awarded on Thursday and the government ensured the winners that there would be a fund for patronizing such creative developers.

The 7 problems that the students have to find the solutions of are: ensure effective fuel and electricity to households, apply marine energy, energy and power crisis in industries, biomass gas stove implementation, materializing smart grid technology, green and renewable energy solution and ensuring inexpensive electricity connection.
