Four of the government officials from Dhaka Power Distribution Company (DPDC) got suspended due to load shedding for 2 times at the court while the verdict of 21st August granade charging case was reading out. Besides, the authorities have formed two separate probe committee to investigate the matter.
The suspended engineers are network operation and customer service executive of DPDC’s Lalbag branch, engineer Md. Shahjahan Ali, executive engineer Md. Ahsanuzzaman, assistant engineer Sayed Hossain and sub-assistant engineer Md. Abul Hossain.
Power division has formed a 4 member probe committee lead by Joint secretary of power division, Sheikh Faizul Amin. Again, another probe committee was formed by DPDC which is headed by the chief engineer (grid) of DPDC.
