The Institute of Energy (IE), University of Dhaka, and Bangladesh Solar Energy Society jointly is going to organize a three day solar Exhibition from 27-29 January titled “National Renewable Expo-2019”. It was informed through a press conference in Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) at Sagor-Runi Auditorium.
A daylong seminar also will be held at the first day of the exhibition. The theme of the program is “Renewable Energy Path to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG): Bangladesh Context”.
the exhibitor will exhibit various renewable energy products and polices such as wind energy, power conditioning, RET devices, improved cook stove, renewable energy policy, west management for energy, bio-energy, hydro energy, oceanography, low energy architecture, solar thermal applications, solar photovoltaic, energy storage, solar energy in textile engineering, green technology etc.
Research and development organizations like Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority (SREDA), Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL), GIZ, Practical Action, BCSIR and business organizations like Rahim Afroz, Bestway Powertech, Energypac, Grameen Shakti, GTS Group, LIC solar, Intraco will participate in the exhibition.
On the press conference director of Institute of Energy, The University of Dhaka, Dr. Saiful Huque briefs about the exhibition. Faculty, institute of Energy, Dr. S M Nasif Shams; president of Solar Grid Association of Bangladesh and managing director of Green Technology System (GTS) Abdul Halim Mridha and other related persons were present at the press conference.
