Dr. Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, BB, the advisor to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on Energy, Power and Mineral Resources has called the protesters of Rampal project for assisting the government with more researches and support in favor of the Ramapl power plant project.

Dr. Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury has called for such assistance from the protesters while talking in a seminar titled ‘Padma to Rampal’ held at the National Press Club on Monday. The seminar was organized by the Study Trust of Bangladesh which was presided over by Dr. A K Abdul Momen. Dr. Mizanur Rahman, the vice chancellor of Jagannath University and Mohammad Hossain, the director general of Powercell spoke among others at the seminar while Dr. Nujhat Chaudhury, the treasurer of Study Trust conducted the program.

Dr. Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury said that, the debate about Rampal is over now. The protesters have no point of offending the Rampal power plant project anymore. Now, they should help the government with positive feedback and researchers in favor of the project, he said. The government has more plans on coal to generate electricity from it but the infrastructure needed for it is not enough at all, he added. He then requested the countrymen to stay confident about the Rampal power plant project.

The energy advisor to the prime minister thanked the protesters of Rampal project as they helped the government to dig down to the issue more precisely. In fact, the protesters are also the well-wishers of the country, he added. The Rampal power plant will change the lifestyle of the poor people living in that vicinity. The government is already conducting various studies for the development of the vicinity and safety of the Sundarbans.

I work well in a team as well as making my own decisions during single handed watch keeping. I am also extremely flexible in my working hours and adapt quickly to any working environment.

    The variety of vessel types that I have worked on, has not only taken me to many locations around the world, such as the Caribbean, the Aegean, the Mediterranean, the North Sea,south china sea, Arabian sea, Black Sea, Pacific sea but has also widened my experience of the Maritime industry as a whole and I look forward to continuing my professional development in your well reputed LNG power sector with petrobangla.

    pls note I have the practical knowledge to attend LNG terminal in Karte, Malaysia and Toban, Indonesia where I have gather knowledge on LNG/LPG loading/discharging operation, how to commence load and disch. operation and also what are the mail panel to check during operation. also I have good idea the structure of the tank in terms both shore and ship where LNG/LPG stored.

    It is my pleasure to inform you I was engaged in Kutubdia zone where Petrobangla schedule to install FSRU(Floating storage re-gasification unit).

    In view above I am very keen to submit my will to serve under Bangladesh Govt, LNG & LPG Sector.

    Plese find following my experience which will suit my position :–

    1. Completed Bsc from Chittagong University under Bangladesh Naval Academy.
    1. I have more than 10 years experienced as Master/Captain in foreign going vessel( All More than 3000 grt))
    2. Having “Advance Diploma in Nautical Science” from Singapore Maritime college.
    3. Having experience 13 Months as senior lecturer in Western Maritime Academy Under City of Glasgow College. ( from sep’2012 to Oct’ 2013)
    4. 16 Months experienced as Commandant In Western Maritime academy ( from 27 July’2016 to 31st October’2017)
    5. Having vast knowledge on natural gas and operating skill form ship to shore as well as how to store in cryogenic method.
    6. In addition I have through knowledge on security (ISPS part of IMO) in both theoretical and practical knowledge in Europe, Africa, Asia,South n Central America )
    6. Having advance knowledge and course on oil and chemical and basic on Gas carrier.
    7. Having fire fighting both basic and advance course in hand.
    8. Having experience work with SHEVRON, MOBILE, BP and PETRONUS Inspector in the various country of the world .

    My urge to join such new team where I can share my all gained knowledge in this sector.

    I am LNG Consultant,
    worked experienced in different tankers around the worlds,
    Teacher on OIL,CHEMICAL &GAS in Bangladesh.
    Want to work in LNG sector beside so that I can be a part of National trainer and look after LNG sector including LNG ship movement.
    My request to please attached with the Govt.authority who can engaged or employ me in this sector.
