The bi-annual general meeting and election of the Forum for Energy Reporters’ Bangladesh was held on Saturday.
In the election, five of the candidates among the nine executive post were elected unopposed.
Among the elected executives Shamim Jahangir of Daily Sun was elected as chairman, Serajul Islam Siraj of Barta24.com as vice-chairman, and Rishan Nasrulla of Banglavision as the executive director.
Besides, Lutfor Rahman Kakon, Hasnain Imtiaz, Mahbub Roni, Mujib Masud, among others, were elected in different other posts.
