A total of 293 drives and mobile court operations were conducted in a single day to monitor the energy situation. During these operations, 78 cases were filed and fines amounting to Tk 315,550 were collected.
According to the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, simultaneous drives and mobile courts were carried out across 62 districts on Friday to oversee the energy situation. Legal actions were taken against those involved in various irregularities.
Magistrates from the Energy Division are conducting mobile court operations regularly in different areas of Dhaka. Such drives will continue.
The authorities have requested the public to contact the relevant inspection teams if any irregularities related to energy are observed or suspected.
