ABB organised a very well attended customer seminar on 14th February in a posh hotel of Dhaka wherein ABB launched its Type Tested prefabricated Low Voltage Switchgear type System Pro E which is now open for licensing by Bangladeshi integrators. The presentation covered all components that go into such switchgear like ACB, MCCB, DIN Rail Products, Contactors etc and ABB’s experts from factories of Italy, Germany, France, Sweden etc were presenting.
Among the 150+ guests were Mr Christoph Fuchs, Head of Political, Economic and Cultural Affairs / Counsellor, Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh and Ms Tazeen Chowdhury, Commercial Officer from Embassy of Sweden in Bangladesh apart from representatives from industry.
Mr Rajarshi Banerjee, Country Managing Director, ABB Bangladesh mentioned during the event that ABB is committed to the growth journey in Bangladesh by offering genuine products & services of worldclass quality in ensuring highest level of efficiency of the industry in Bangladesh. He specifically mentioned the immediate need for high quality and rugged products like the ones launched during the seminar to ensure that the risks of fires and blackouts are minimised. He emphasised that these are building blocks of a Smart City system that is the ultimate destination of all modern urban infrastructures.
