Chevron Bangladesh kicked off its blood donation drives for 2015 on June 8th to mark World Blood Donor Day. This year, 419 staff came forward to donate blood from Chevron’s Dhaka office and gas field locations of Bibiyana, Jalalabad, Moulavi Bazar and the Muchai Compressor Station. The rate of inflation in May came down to 6.19 per cent after witnessing the rising trend in three consecutive months in the fiscal 2014-15 year.
