Bangladesh’s Finance Ministry has recently sanctioned the budget for second phase of construction of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (RNPP). The amount allotted for this phase is USD 42.33 million. On sideline of the 19th India-Russia Annual Bilateral Summit, held in New Delhi, both the countries on Friday have signed a deal for cooperation in implementing of a new nuclear power project in India.
