The industrial sector is set to face more power outages over the next two weeks with India further cutting down supply to Nepal, the Nepal Electricity Authority said on Wednesday. Discussions on formulating strategies for the next national budget are now going on. Bangladesh has offered to export electricity to Nepal in the winter season and import its hydropower in summer. NEW DELHI: In a significant move, the Bangladesh government is considering a plan to enter into a cross-border exchange of electricity with India through the Indian Energy Exchange (IEX). Bangladesh have set a electricity generation record 14,423MW. BPDB source inform that the Country`s grid connected power generation was 14423MW on April 12, 2022 at 9pm. The previous highest power generation was 14001MW April 7 this year. Now Bangladesh installed grid power generation capacity 22,296MW.
