With a view to creating a mega platform for local and foreign companies and exploring new potentials, an exposition on construction materials, solar power panels, real estate, safety and security will kick off in the capital on November 10, 2016. A total of 127 companies from 12 countries including the host Bangladesh will showcase their products and ideas during the three-day long expo at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). CEMS Global, Conference & Exhibition Management Services Ltd, is organising the five expos under the same venue – the ‘20th Cons-Expo Bangladesh 2016’, the ‘18th Power Bangladesh 2016’, the ‘13th Solar Bangladesh Expo 2016’, the ‘17th Real Estate Bangladesh Expo 2016’, and the ‘International Safety and Security Bangladesh Expo 2016.’ Meherun N Islam, group president and managing director of CEMS-Global, announced this at a press briefing at the National Press Club on Tuesday. She said, the exhibition will be not only a networking ground but also a place to find business partners for making strategic alliance for manufacturing, outsourcing, sub-contracting as well as developing direct marketing network. “It will bring together all stakeholders under one roof where B2B, B2G and B2C meeting will be held between the exhibitors from 12 countries leading to a successful partnership”, she said.
Meherun N Islam also said that a special workshop with Energy Bangla and the assistance of ROSATOM styled ‘Acceptance of Nuclear Energy: Russia and Bangladesh-creating energy of the future together’ will be held at the seminar hall on the closing session on November 12. This is Bangladesh’s premier international exhibition which will showcase the construction materials, methods, equipment and real estate products, safety and security tools, power generation products and technologies, transmission, alternative power, solar power, energy, renewable energy sectors of Bangladesh, organisers said. They also said that companies from Australia, China, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Spain, UK and Bangladesh will display their products and services at their stalls in the expo. The expo will be open for trade and public visitors from 11am to 8pm. Tanveer Qamrul Islam, executive director of CEMS Bangladesh, Lutfur Rahman, general manager (Admin) of CEMS Bangladesh and Abu Noyem Md. Sharif, head of Marketing of CEMS Bangladesh, among others, were present at the programme.
