Fuel prices will remain unchanged for the month of August. The decision has been made under the country’s automatic pricing formula, which adjusts prices in line with fluctuations in the global fuel market.
The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources announced the price decision through an official order issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division on Thursday.
According to the ministry’s statement, the aim of this step is to ensure that fuel remains available to consumers at relatively affordable prices.
Starting from 1 August, the retail fuel prices will remain as follows:
- Diesel: Tk 102 per liter
- Kerosene: Tk 114 per liter
- Octane: Tk 122 per liter
- Petrol: Tk 118 per liter
