Russia’s State Nuclear Energy Corporation – Rosatom with a view to hunt new business has opened a regional center for Western Europe headquartered in Paris. The center has been set up as Rusatom International Network subsidiary – Rosatom France.
This was announced at the first World Nuclear Exhibition, held in Le Bourget from October 14 to 16. The company is tasked with developing international business for Rosatom by forging mutually rewarding partnerships with European companies and seeking out new business opportunities. Andrey Rozhdestvin, regional VP of Rusatom International Network, has been appointed as the CEO of Rosatom France.
“It is a logical move in the development of cooperation with French and European partners, the history of which goes back decades. It was through France that Russian uranium products made their way to the European and then to the global uranium market” said, Kirill Komarov, Rosatom’s Deputy Director General for Development and International Business.
Aleksander Merten, President of Rusatom International Network said, “Rosatom’s regional centers are tasked with looking for new contracts for Rosatom on the one hand, and making us as close as possible to the customer to meet their expectations and requirements, on the other hand”.
Other than France, Rosatom’s regional centers are located in Prague, Kiev, Singapore and Johannesburg.
