Socio Camp- nation’s biggest social awareness-based idea generating competition is yet another out- turn of the sheer hard work of the enthusiastic members of North South University Social Services Club to bring about changes in society. This year, NSUSSC presents Socio Camp Season 7, driven by SUZUKI and co-powered by STEP footwear has taken a further step and extended its reach to the international university students as well.
After the successful rounds of workshop and qualifying round, the grand finale of Socio Camp7 was held on 20th November 2016 at the North South University Plaza area in a very grand way. The event started at 7pm. The 5 qualified teams of the qualifying round presented their presentation and different ideas to solve Traffic Congestion of Dhaka city. Arif R Hossain, Iresh Zaker,Abdun Noor Tushar and  Jara Mahbub along with the faculties from North South University was the judges. The VC, Chairman and director of student affairs of NSU were also present in the event. The five teams were from IBA,NSU, DU and BUP.
‘Team Hold’ from the NSU have been crowned the champions of the event. ‘Paper Planes from the BUP  were the first runners up. The Dhaka University’s ‘Nine One One’ were adjudged the second runners up. Five out of 473 teams from Bangladesh and India had qualified through three competitive rounds for the final. The Winning team won a price of 120000 bdt, the first runner up won 70000 bdt and the second runner up won 40000 bdt.
