will be found for both construction and investment.

The BIFPCL official discussed about the tender at its pretender
meeting with the companies and their local banks. At the basis of
discussion the companies bought bidding paper.
Managing Director of BIFPCL U K Bhattacharjee hopes a potential
proposal will be arranged. “We hope well proposal will ensure the
investment, because already the companies have discussed with their
local banks before submitting proposal”.

discuss with the relevant banks for seeking investment. He said,
investments would not be a barrier for the expected Rampal power
plant.

Some 12 international companies including Chin, Japan, India, Germany,

companies and to attract investment, bidding clause and conditions
have been flexible.

On February 15, BIFPCL invited bids to set up Rampal power plant. The
first deadline was May 18, later it was extended to July 16 and on
September 22. The BIPCL authority said that the deadline was extended
on request of the bidders.
