The government has extended the closure hours of CNG filling stations by three hours during Ramadan. From the first day of Ramadan until March 14, CNG stations will remain closed from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, instead of the previous schedule of 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM—bringing the total closure period to six hours.
According to an order issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, CNG/filling stations will remain open круглосуточно (24 hours) from March 15 to March 25 on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
The order stated that the revised schedule has been introduced to address low gas pressure in the distribution network and to ensure uninterrupted gas supply for power generation during the peak demand period at iftar in the holy month of Ramadan.
At the same time, operating hours have been extended during the Eid-ul-Fitr period to facilitate public convenience.
From March 26 onwards, the previous schedule will resume, with CNG stations remaining closed from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
