Stone Production Crossed 4,000 Metric Tons At Maddhapara

Rukunuzzaman Babul, Parbatipur (Dinajpur)

The production from Maddhapara hard rock mine of Dinajpur has reached to a new per day production record. The stone production from Maddhapara under the mining contractor  Germania-Trest Consortium (GTC) has crossed the mark of 4,200 metric tons on this 11th February.

GTC has managed to raise the production of stone to this level by running the mining operation in three shifts and digging new holes. This production record has brought new hope to everyone including the mining authorities and the local inhabitants.

The GTC, a consortium of Bangladesh-based Germania Corporation Limited and Belarus-based JSC Trest Shakhtos Petsstroy was selected as the contractor of the Maddhapara granite field in 2014. With a few ups and downs in its career with the Maddhapara field, GTC managed to increase the production of rock from the field.

According to the sources from GTC, now it is working on developing the mining field by digging new holes and taking other relevant actions to raise the production. GTC has a foreign mining expert team along with a bunch of local engineers and workers and all of them are working relentlessly to develop the mining field.
