Discrete Automation and Motion division of ABB Bangladesh Limited successfully organized a Product
Launching event for new ranges of Variable Frequency Drive on 02 June 2016 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The
event was attended by over 150 customers coming from various industrial sectors which included
Textile, Pulp & Paper, Water & Wastewater, Food & Beverage, Chemical and Cement. The interactive
session highlighted on show casing the features and benefits of the newly launched “All Compatible
Industrial Drives – ACS880”, “A Optimal Solution for Pump Applications – ACQ810” and “Effortless Energy
Efficient General Purpose Drive – ACS580”. Karthikeyan Anbanandam and Harish Somanahalli Ramaiah of
ABB India Limited were the main speakers for the event.
The powered up demo-kits and products displayed and demonstrated by the service team in the
program earned appreciation from the Customers as they could visualize and get a feel of the new
generation of products. Spinning Mill and Water and Wastewater Customers specifically acknowledged
the worthiness of ABB’s spinning macro in ACS880 and tailor-made pump control functions for single
and multi-pump systems in ACQ810.
