CNG filling stations in Dhaka have stopped feeding cars for 24 hours from the wee hours of Saturday in line with a government announcement. The government attributed ‘emergency maintenance’ at Bibiyana gas field to the suspension. Long queues of vehicles were seen in the refuelling stations before Friday midnight. CNG-refueling stations would suspend operations for 24 hours (Eid day) from Friday midnight to Saturday midnight. According to an energy ministry circular issued today the supply of CNG would be suspended for emergency maintenance of the Bibiyana Gas Field.

After 20 years KFCO agreement has been changed. Gas price raised a bit and conditions is relaxed. KAFCO starts to get gas after 6 month. New Gas supply agreement has been renewed between Karnaphuli Gas Distribution Company and Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company limited (KAFCO).
