Cooking gas supply will be normal within 2 to 3 days. Today, state minister, ministry of power energy and mineral resources Nasrul Hamid said this.
Mr. Hamid added, the crisis is now in serious stage because the 30-inch-diamtere Siddhirganj-Bakhrabapipeline has been dysfunctional for about the last 25 days. Authouritys are working on it.
According to Petrobangla sources, the daily demand for gas in the country is 3200 million cubic feet whereas the supply rate is 2700 million cubic feet. A deficit of 500 million cubic feet of gas every day gave way to this gas crisis.
